Poke is a hearty and energizing dish for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious meal. I had the opportunity to create an editorial magazine spread to display any dish. I chose to poke for its lively colours and customizable ingredients (it can be made vegan and gluten-free friendly!). I wanted this spread to be reminiscent of the ocean motifs associated with poke without making it seem like too much of a cliché. Therefore I opted for a sea blue background, a playful squiggle, and a font that would bring some playfulness to this layout. This magazine spread showcases poke's incredible versatility, from the bright and vibrant oranges to the cool and refreshing blues.
